Synergix Scan System
NEW - Color
Scan-to-Net
Thanks to the new XES Synergix Scan System, gone are the days of
making an investment only to see it reduced to expensive
obsolescence within a few years. The Synergix Scan System is
designed for scalable tailoring. Should your needs change, just
purchase and download a software feature key to expand your scanners
capabilities. Speed and current upgrades include monochrome scanning
speed increases from 2 ips to 4 ips, as well as the ability to move
from monochrome to full-color scanning. The scanners ability to
produce outstanding quality images of even your most difficult
documents will improve your work processes by providing images that
are easily interpreted allowing you to complete your work faster
with fewer errors. Incorporating, superior image quality,
scalability and productivity, the Synergix Scan System is available
as an integral component of the Synergix 8825, 8830 and 8855 Digital Solutions, making it the perfect scanning
solution to meet your wide-format needs.
- Provides benchmark image quality
- Scalable and customizable to meet your needs
- Optical resolution of 400 x 400 dpi
- Handles thick documents up to ? (13mm)
- Recognizes all colors and all gradations to enable
outstandingly sharp grayscales images
- Batch feeding of similar documents improves productivity
- Scan-to-net and copying operations
Benchmark image quality is achieved through a patented
self-calibrating array of CMOS image sensors that maintains precise
alignment. This technology allows for consistent image quality
throughout the life of the scanner and reduces service calls by
eliminating the need for recalibration and alignments.
- Flexibility of software upgradable speed from 2 to 4 inches
per second
- Software upgrade to add monochrome scan to net for line and
grayscale documents
- Software upgrade to color scan to net for archiving of
color documents
The Synergix Scan System Scanner accommodates unusual
documents effortlessly - up to 100 feet long, up to ?inch thick or
up to 42 inches wide (capturing 36 inches of image). Scanning
couldn't be any easier. Simply adjust the height lever for thick
documents, feed your original into the scanner and the Synergix Scan
Systems' patented image sensors optically, and very accurately,
sense the media edges and then without intervention feeds the
original through the scanner. The accuracy associated with automatic
width detection allows the scanner to easily distinguish between
similar sizes in different series, for example a 17" ANSI document
and an 18" ARCH document, enabling the best roll selections and
therefore the best use of media.
The Synergix Scan System offers variable speed capabilities
accelerating your workflow while reducing your time at the scanner.
The rated speed for the Synergix Scan System is 2 inches per second
or 4 inches per second. However, actual scan speeds automatically
adjust based on document size and resolution. In fact the Synergix
Scan System can process smaller, lower resolution documents as fast
as 2 times rated speed, 4 ips and 8 ips respectively, automatically
slowing to ensure high quality results for photographs.
You'll achieve record breaking productivity with concurrent
scanning and printing or copying to give you hours - or even extra
days - over the life of your project. Our intuitive user interface
allows you to set copy/scan parameters quickly and easily - specify
the number of copies, reduce or enlarge from 25-400 percent and
recall the last job you scanned to print a different size or
quantity.
There's no workstation required to create sets - you can collate
electronically and scan sets only once to make up to 999 copies. And
when copying is a priority, you can interrupt printing to make your
copies - the system will automatically resume printing when you are
finished.
Batch Mode allows you to maximize throughput for similar
documents and a Sets Build function let's you build, collate and
finish sets easily. In addition, functions are available to allow
you to mirror reverse reading sepias, invert blueprints and
automatically scale documents to a desired output size - so you can
concentrate on the design cycle - not the documents.
Fundamentally more compact than most other wide format scanners,
customers can choose either a tabletop mounting or a floor stand
complete with casters for easy mobility. The tabletop mounting can
be set on top of the Synergix 8855 printer if desired for the most
compact solution.
